| Welcome |
Wheels for Christina was created by Mom,
Stepfather, and one of Christina's long time
caregivers.
The purpose of this organization is to raise funds
to purchase a handicap accessible wheelchair
van for transporting Christina to and from her
doctor appointments, family visits, shopping trips
and other outings.
Christina is to the point where mom is having a
very hard time lifting her in and out of the van they
now use(which is not a wheel chair van). Christina
is non-ambulatory so mom lifts her in and out of
her wheelchair to transport her. Christina has a lot
of medical issues besides being non-ambulatory,
she uses oxygen 24 hours a day and is tube fed.
This organization was created for the purpose of
a wheelchair van' Safety being the number one
issue for Christina, Mom and her care givers. The
longer we have mom lifting her the more at risk
they are for serious injuries.
Because we know there are other individuals
and family's with the same needs, Wheels for
Christina will continue its mission to help others
with the same needs.

| Our Mission Statement The mission of Wheels for Christina is to provide assistance to special needs and developmentally disabled children and adults with assistance to purchase wheelchair accessible vans. Wheels for Christina fosters independence and safety to it's clients, family, and care staff by assisting with the purchase of needed transportation and adaptive equipment. |
